ಆರ್.ಕೆ. ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರು ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಮಿಲಿಯನ್ ಡಾಲರ್ ರೌಂಡ್ ಟೇಬಲ್ (MDRT) ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸದಸ್ಯತ್ವವನ್ನು 23 ಬಾರಿ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಸತತ 13 ಬಾರಿ ಟಾಪ್ ಆಫ್ ದಿ ಟೇಬಲ್ (TOT) ಗೌರವಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ವಿಶ್ವದ ಹಣಕಾಸು ವೃತ್ತಿಪರರಿಗೆ ದೊರೆಯುವ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಮನ್ನಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲುಗಳು :
2008ರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ, ಶ್ರೀಲಂಕಾ, ನೇಪಾಳ, ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ, ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರಾಚ್ಯ, ಯುರೋಪ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆಫ್ರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ MDRT ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ನೇಮಕಗೊಂಡ ಮೊದಲ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾದರು.
2009ರಲ್ಲಿ MDRT ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ 82 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಭಾಗೀಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಮೊದಲ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಎಂಬ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು.ವಿಶ್ವದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಹಣಕಾಸು ವೃತ್ತಿಪರರಿಗೆ ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಒದಗಿಸುವ MDRTಯ 17 ಸದಸ್ಯರ ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ಮಂಡಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದರು.
2010ರಲ್ಲಿ MDRTಯ 2011ರ ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಮಿತಿಗೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದರು.ಜೂನ್ 2009ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಇಂಡಿಯಾನಾಪೊಲಿಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ MDRT ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಷಣಕಾರರಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದರು.
ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 6 ಮತ್ತು 7, 2010ರಂದು ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಫ್ಲೋರಿಡಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ವಿಶ್ವದ ಉನ್ನತ ಹಣಕಾಸು ವೃತ್ತಿಪರರ ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಮಾವೇಶವಾದ ‘ಟಾಪ್ ಆಫ್ ದಿ ಟೇಬಲ್’ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಭಾಷಣಕಾರರಾಗಿ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.
ಜುಲೈ 27ರಿಂದ 29, 2011ರವರೆಗೆ ಸಿಂಗಾಪುರದ ರೆಸಾರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ವರ್ಲ್ಡ್ ಸೆಂಟೋಸಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ 13ನೇ APLIC ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಭಾಷಣಕಾರರಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿವಿಧ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಷಣಕಾರರಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.
ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ MDRT ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ರಚಿಸಲಾದ 2013ರ MDRT ಎಕ್ಸ್‌ಪೀರಿಯನ್ಸ್ ಟಾಸ್ಕ್ ಫೋರ್ಸ್‌ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ನೇಮಕಗೊಂಡರು. 2013ರ MDRT ಸದಸ್ಯತ್ವ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿಯೂ ನೇಮಕಗೊಂಡರು.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ : ಹಣಕಾಸು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ 2010ರ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 1ರಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಅಂದಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಿ.ಎಸ್. ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಅವರಿಂದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು.
ವಿಶ್ವ ಬಂಟ್ಸ್ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಸವದ ಗೌರವ : 2010ರ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 26ರಂದು ಮುಂಬೈನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ವಿಶ್ವ ಬಂಟ್ಸ್ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿಷೇಕ್ ಬಚ್ಚನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯಾ ರೈ ಬಚ್ಚನ್ ಅವರಿಂದ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿತರಾದರು.
ಜೀವಮಾನ ಸಾಧನೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ : ಖ್ಯಾತ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ಭಾಷಣಕಾರರಾದ ಶಿವ್ ಖೇರಾ ಅವರಿಂದ ಜೀವಮಾನ ಸಾಧನೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು.
ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಧ್ವಜ ಗೌರವ : 2002ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ನ್ಯಾಶ್‌ವಿಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ MDRT ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಸಮಾವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ, 2004ರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಂಗ್‌ಕಾಂಗ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ 2010ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊರಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸಮಾವೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಧ್ವಜವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತು ಸಾಗುವ ಗೌರವ ಪಡೆದರು.
ವಿಶ್ವ MDRT ಧ್ವಜ ಗೌರವ : 2007ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಕೊಲೊರಾಡೊ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಡೆನ್ವರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ MDRT ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಸಮಾವೇಶದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ MDRT ಧ್ವಜವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತೊಯ್ಯಲು ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಏಕೈಕ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾದರು. ವಿಶ್ವದ 31,000 ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಹಣಕಾಸು ವೃತ್ತಿಪರರಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಶ್ರೀ ಜಾರ್ಜ್ ಫರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಸಾಧನಾ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ : 2012ರಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಜನ್ಮದಿನದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು.

Dr. R K was the First Indian to get appointed as “MDRT Regional Chairman for India, Sri- Lanka, Nepal , Pakistan, Middle-East, Europe and Africa, in the year 2008.Dr. R K was the First Indian who got selected as a Divisional Vice President in the 82 years’ history of MDRT in the year 2009.Dr R K was a member of MDRT’s 17 Member Management Council which Provides leadership to the world’s best of the best, Top of the Top financial professionals.Dr. R K was selected for MDRT’s 2011 Leadership & Volunteer Development Committee in the year 2010.
